Nov. 29 to Dec. 3

All classes will begin unit on team handball... skills and modified game play all levels.

Nov. 15 to Nov. 19

6th grade will New Games week... we play a variety of fun and fitness games all week... so sad our last day is on Friday.

Grades 7 & 8 ... fitness games and fitness assessment this week.

Nov. 8 to Nov. 12

For grades 7 and 8 ... the rotation ends on Tue. Monday we will play "jailbreak" Tue. will be our last class and a final fitness game.

Students in the 6th grade will play soccer on Monday and Tue. with a game of "poker chip football" on Wed.

No School on Thursday and HALF day on Friday.

New 7th and 8th grade class will get the class expectations on Wed. and lockers. Friday a game of GAGA ball.

Nov. 1 to Nov. 5

This week the last full week for the 7 and 8th grade classes we will play a variety of throw and catch games... most of your favorite games included !!!

The 6th grade begins a week of Basketball on Monday with a little history, and introduction to skills of the game. Dribbling and Passing. As the week goes on we take on the shooting skill and play a lot of shooting games.

ALL CLASSES ON FRIDAY WILL PLAY WHIFFLEBALL ... I HAVE A PERSONAL DAY AND WILL NOT BE IN SCHOOL SO MY SUB WILL CONDUCT THIS CLASS.

7&8 Your last day in this rotation is Tue. November 9th ... so sad.

Oct. 25 to Oct.29

Grade 6 ... this week we will begin a unit of TEAM HANDBALL

Grade 7 and Grade 8 ... this week we will play floor hockey.

Oct. 18 to Oct.22

Grades 7 ad 8 will begin Basketball Units this week.

Grade 6 will play fitness games this week.

Oct. 12 to Oct.15

Hi all... Hope you enjoyed the Monday off !!!

Tue. is a half day of classes so most classes will do some badminton. 6th grade will play GAGA Ball.

New rotation of grade 6 students starts on Wed. I will miss my first group.

Wed. my 7th and 8th grade classes will play a game of GET 8 with Mrs. Blanchard's classes. The rest of the week we will play badminton.

Oct. 4 to Oct. 8

Grade 6 ... this is NEW Games week... we will play a variety of fun games. Games like ... pillow polo, get 8, rat race and others.

Grade 7 and 8 ... this will be Volleyball Week. History, skills and yes some game play as well.

Sept. 27 to Oct. 1

Grade 6 ... we will begin a introduction to basketball this week. Expect some history, skills and drills.

Grades 7 and 8 ... Team Handball ... review of skills and game play.

Sept. 20 to Sept. 24

Hi All... I want to thank everyone I met at the meet the teacher night last week... it was a great turn out. If you made it to this blog..my weekly newletter please drop me a line.

This week for the 6th grade... we will begin a unit of Team Handball... rules, skills and game play. (This is one of their 'favorite team games' 6th graders tell me.

7th graders... This week will be an introduction to Flag Football ... Lots of skills and drills... hope the weather is good because we will be going outside for this unit.

8th graders... finally you get to play flag football this week... early in the week we will go over pass/catch, basic offence and defence and of course the rules of the flag football game. It is NOT >>> TACKLE FOOTBALL !!! The second part of the week will be game play outside.
