Grade 6 ... we will begin a introduction to basketball this week. Expect some history, skills and drills.

Grades 7 and 8 ... Team Handball ... review of skills and game play.

Hi All... I want to thank everyone I met at the meet the teacher night last week... it was a great turn out. If you made it to this blog..my weekly newletter please drop me a line.

This week for the 6th grade... we will begin a unit of Team Handball... rules, skills and game play. (This is one of their 'favorite team games' 6th graders tell me.

7th graders... This week will be an introduction to Flag Football ... Lots of skills and drills... hope the weather is good because we will be going outside for this unit.

8th graders... finally you get to play flag football this week... early in the week we will go over pass/catch, basic offence and defence and of course the rules of the flag football game. It is NOT >>> TACKLE FOOTBALL !!! The second part of the week will be game play outside.
